After a long, cold winter, the longer days and warmer weather of Spring is finally on our doorsteps. The arrival of Spring typically invokes feelings of renewal, happiness, new beginnings and transformation in all aspects of life. Along with many other things, it's time to say goodbye to bulky winter clothes and to bring in t-shirts, blouses, lightweight pants, dresses and skirts.
I love Spring; the blooming of flowers, the return of birds and other wildlife to gardens, everything inspires a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of nature. There is so much colour and pattern to take in as things start anew.
To coincide with the arrival of Spring, Cotton Traders have launched a new Spring collection called #PatternPark. The collection is bursting with prints and colours and has everything from fresh florals to exotic blooms, lovely lemons and monochrome spots to classic stripes! I have worked with Cotton Traders in the past and can attest that their clothes are lovely. So, when the opportunity arose, I picked a few items from their #PatternPark collection to showcase on the blog. Take a look!
Viscose-Linen Stripe Short Sleeve Knitted Top
My first pick is this very lovely short-sleeved knitted top. Made with a linen-blend fine knit and with colourful all-over stripes, the top is lightweight, cool and comfortable to wear. It is perfect for Spring. It has a shape-saving rib to the collar, cuffs and hem and the material is lovely.
I loved how effortlessly stylish it is and most importantly feels so good on the skin. You can layer it to create different looks.
Daydream Embroidered Blouse
Next is this beautiful Daydream Embroidered Blouse in pure cotton woven fabric.
Lightweight cotton blouses are a great option for warm weather because they are breathable, absorbent, and comfortable. And this blouse made from pure cotton woven with pretty embroidery to the front is a winner! It features a notch neck with a button-fastening half placket, pintucks to the front, back yoke and ¾ length sleeves that tab back to ½ length with mock wood effect buttons.

Fran Jersey Knee-Length Swing Dress
Another comfortable to wear and lovely pick from the #PatternPark collection is the Fran Jersey Knee-Length Swing Dress.
Made with a soft jersey material and with plenty of stretch for easy comfort, this dress has a flattering fit and is available in two prints - Pale Gold (pretty floral print) and Navy (all-over stripes).
I loved the Pale Gold print as the floral print is perfect for Spring.
With ¾ length sleeves, square neck and a relaxed swing shape, this dress is super comfortable to wear. And I love that it has pockets to the side seams. It is a simple dress with clean lines and details but is versatile. It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and is comfortable enough to wear for a range of activities. Love this dress.
