Luvbiotics is an innovative oral care range developed by dentists and world leading experts in probiotic science. Their range of oral care products has been carefully formulated with specially selected probiotics that offer proven dental care benefits.

There are five products currently in their product range:

• Original Toothpaste
• Whitening Toothpaste
• Mouthwash
• Original Lozenges
• Cherry Lozenges

What is special about the Luvbiotics range?

The Luvbiotics range is powered by probiotics. Probiotics are bacteria that are good for you. You can also call them helpful bacteria as they help to keep you gut healthy, prevent allergies and also help with oral health.

The probiotics used in the Luvbiotics range are 'Lactobacillus' (the Lactobacillus reuteri strain in the lozenges & Lactobacillus parcasei strain in the toothpastes and mouthwash). The Lactobacillus probiotic helps maintain the balance of bacteria in the oral cavity thus helping preventing dental issues. In addition to the probiotics, the range also contains specially selected ingredients like Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Stevioside that play their part in keep teeth & gums healthy and breath smelling fresher.

Also, the Luvbiotics range is free from SLS, Parabens, artificial colours, artificial flavours and alcohol. These are ingredients that could disrupt the natural bacterial balance in the oral cavity.

The Luvbiotics Product Range

We tried out all the products that Luvbiotics currently have in their range. And here is what we think.

Original Toothpaste: The original toothpaste balances oral flora and helps to fight tooth decay & reduce plaque while also freshening the breath.

Whitening Toothpaste: The whitening toothpaste offers the same benefits as the original version plus helps whiten teeth.

Mouthwash: This alcohol-free mouthwash helps fight bad bacteria to freshen breath and reduce plaque. With a friendlier formulation featuring unique blends of natural ingredients, the mouthwash is ideal for those who want to add a mouthwash to their oral hygiene routine but have sensitive mouths and cannot use alcohol-based mouthwashes. 

Original Lozenges and Cherry Lozenges: These lozenges have the same probiotics as the other products and restore the balance of oral flora to freshen breath and make gums healthier. These are ideal for times where brushing is not possible. For e.g. if you are dining outside or at a party and want to freshen your breath after eating. According to Luvbiotics, these lozenges also prevent mouth infections and reduce the incidence of mouth ulcers.

All the products are good but my favourite is the mouthwash. Mr. H liked the lozenges for their convenience; you can use them when brushing is not immediately possible and help maintain good oral hygiene. Easy to use, with a mild cherry flavour (that's the ones we tried) the lozenges do leave the teeth feeling clean and the mouth fresh.

Overall, a fab selection of products from Luvbiotics - a range that is powered by probiotics and with natural ingredients to promote good bacteria and balance oral flora for improved wellbeing.
