Skin problems like severe dryness, itching, flaking, redness & irritation, cracked skin, fissures etc. are not only frustrating but painful as well. The triggers or causes for these problems can be a number of factors ranging from genetics to environmental factors and from medications to conditions like eczema, psoriasis etc.One of the most common forms of eczema is Atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis). It causes the skin to become itchy, dry and cracked and can affect at any age. It varies in severity and can have a significant impact on a person's daily life.
The other common skin condition is Psoriasis which also causes red, flaky skin along with crusty patches. Again the severity of the condition varies and in severe cases it can have an affect on the quality of life.
Both Atopic Eczema and Psoriasis have no cure at present. But one can use topical applications to treat flare-ups and ease the symptoms. Listed below are some fantastic products that can help with a range of skin problems including extreme dryness and itching. Take a look.
The Bioskin Range from Salcura
Salcura Natural Skin Therapy are known for their natural products developed specifically for those suffering from allergic skin conditions. Their product range is based on the principle of homeostasis – the self-healing capacity of the skin, which is dependent on the supply of nutrients. And that is the reason their products are composed of natural oils and extracts to ensure that skin gets as many nutrients as possible to heal itself.
Their Bioskin range helps naturally support and soothe dry, itchy and dehydrated skin. There is a 2-step spray-cream therapy system that helps to achieve maximum results. There are 3 products in this system:
- Bioskin Dermaspray Intensive: a dermatologically tested spray that works very well to combat severely dry and itchy skin. It is easy to use, non-greasy, easily absorbed and works well all over the body; even on difficult to reach areas like an itchy scalp.
- Bioskin Dermaserum: a nutrient-rich serum that leaves the skin feel more balanced and healthy. The serum contains a number of natural oils and extracts like Sunflower, Almond and Aloe Vera that helps lessen symptoms like dryness, redness and itchiness. The serum is light and gentle enough to be used on sensitive areas of the face, around the eyes and the mouth.
- Bioskin Zeoderm Skin Repair Moisturiser: this is one of the best-sellers from the Bioskin range. The mosituriser includes natural ingredients like Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Starflower Leaf Extract and Linseed Oil that can help relieve itchiness and soothe skin irritation. The star ingredient, however, is the volcanic mineral Zeolite which has anti-inflammatory properties and also helps the skin to regain strength.
Used in conjunction, these three products work very well for skin prone to eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis. The nutrient-rich products help to make skin feel more balanced and healthy.
