Buying unique and practical gifts for your family or friends need not be a difficult task.
MyPicture are a photo printing community who specialise in producing customised, high-quality wall art and lifestyle accessories. Their offerings include wall decoration, photo books, photo mugs, photo calendars and home & lifestyle products (photo blankets, photo towels etc.). Very recently they also launched a personalised face mask service. If you visit their website, you will be surprised by the large selection of photo gifts that can be personalised, making totally unique gifts that the recipient will both treasure and appreciate.
We tried out their service to create personalised gifts and it was so very easy! You just need to pick an item, upload a photo, use the design settings (effects, positioning etc.) and it's done! Once you have placed your order, your personalised photo gift reaches your/the recipient's home in a few days time. A very easy and good service right from the personalisation to the delivery.
Personalised Photo Towel
MyPicture's personalised towel service is a service where you can have your chosen photo printed on a premium-quality terry-cloth towel. Made using a special dye-sublimation technique, the personalised photo towel is quick-drying and super-soft.
As I mentioned earlier, the process is very simple. Even if you are using a photo gifts website for the first time, you will find designing your towel very easy. I chose to have a photo that I had taken in Stratford-upon-Avon for the towel design. It features a lot of swans, geese, ducks and other water fowl and I felt that it would look good on a towel.
After uploading the photo, I chose the format (size that I needed the towel in) and the effect. Then I made some adjustments to the print area and that was it. The order was placed. When the towel arrived, I was amazed with the crisp resolution and the print quality. So beautiful and lifelike. Love it.
Personalised Face Masks
MyPicture also offer custom face masks with either a photo, a logo or a stock design. For the first two options, you upload your photo or logo while for the stock design you simply choose from MyPicture's collection of designs. The masks come in a single size and are currently available in two models -
- Premium Neopren which has an elasticated earloop for a secure fit and is built to follow the contours of the face.
- Premium Oeko-Tex with adjustable straps and a flexible metal nosepiece.
I opted for the latter. The Premium Oeko-Tex is made from 100% Oeko-Tex® certified polyester and cotton. While there was an option to upload your own photo to be printed on the mask, I chose to go with the designs available in MyPicture's image collection as I loved their offerings. I just made some modifications to the print area and placed the order for the masks. As with the towel, the print quality was great and both Mr.H and myself loved the masks.
