ReplyDeleteEvery single Thursday without fail I take my father out for a lunch or a cup of coffee at the local cafe. Just to show my appreciation and to spend some time with him as I feel like I don't as much anymore. :)

ReplyDeleteMy grandad was my dad and sadly, at 93 years old, he is in a nursing home and has alzheimer's. Years ago though we would spend quality time together in the kitchen, cooking up some of his favourite recipes.
