ReplyDeleteWe never celebrated Father's Day when I was a child, it was just coming in then and it was all about commercialism. It still is, sadly. However, I don't need a special day to recognise my love and appreciation for my Dad, I give it anyway.
ReplyDeleteI still remember the first father's day after our son was born. My best friend had also just had her 1st child, so we all went out with our babies to a restaurant to celebrate. I have some lovely photos of that day which I must get round to digitising!
