Gifted
Featured today on the blog are a couple of homeware products from artist and designer Helen Russell. Helen's designs, which mainly are charming animal characters, can be found on ceramic tableware, kitchen textiles, illustrations and sculptures. I had featured a couple of products from her Raining Cats and Dogs collection earlier on the blog. Today it is the turn of another collection - Penguins on Parade, which features cute penguins in their best winter wear.
Penguin side plate, £14.00
The fine bone china side plate is a 15cm square plate and is perfect for snacks and little treats. The plate is hand decorated in the UK and comes in a beautiful gift box with a little story postcard that tells you about the character inside in this case the South Pole penguins who are sporting their very best winter wear!
Penguin mini jug, £12.00
I love small milk jugs and this has to be one of the cutest jugs ever. Featuring the same South Pole penguins but this one with an earmuff, the mini jug (1/4 pint) holds enough milk for 2 cups of tea, so is ideal for one person - perfect when I am sitting down alone with a pot of tea. Like the side plate, the mini jug is hand decorated in the UK and comes in a gift box.
Also included in the range are:
- Penguin Mugs, which are priced at £12.95 each and come in five designs - Penguin Parade, Ear Muff Penguin, Extra Large Jumper Penguin, Bobble Hat Penguin mug and A Waddle of Penguins.
- Penguin coasters priced at £12.95 for a set of four.
- Penguin Egg Cups, £7.00 each.
You can check out all of Helen's creations at www.helenrussellcreations.com. The website offers free (standard UK 2nd class) delivery on all orders over £10.
