One of my favourite aspects of the blogging world is the chance to try out new brands and new products, some of which I may never have thought of trying out myself. This year I have tried out some amazing products from Exuviance, a dermatologist developed skincare range that was created by Drs. You might have read my thoughts on their Detox Mud Treatment, which worked very well for me and which I went on to repurchase as it has become a staple in my skincare routine. Recently I began using one of their products - the Age Reverse HydraFirm cream which according to Exuviance
targets all visible signs of ageing - poor texture, age spots, loss of firmness, and lines & wrinkles. The luxurious serum makes the skin appear more lifted, more hydrated and more firmer.
Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and a triple firming complex of patented Maltobionic Acid, NeoGlucosamine and Matrixyl® Peptides that target collagen, the cream helps to plump and fill skin so it appears lifted and firmer. Packaged in a pump action bottle, the HydraFirm cream is ideal for those facing issues of dull & dry skin and age related skin problems. The cream is to be applied to cleansed skin in the morning and evening. I have however been using it only as a part of my nigh-time skin care routine as I find the cream very rich for daytime use on my skin. I am in my early 40s and have started to develop fine lines and age spots on my face. This cream (which I have now been using for around four weeks) seems to be improving the appearance of my skin. The difference is more noticeable on my neck.
The cream has a lightweight texture (almost like a gel) and a very mild and pleasant fragrance. And you need very little (and I mean a really tiny amount; applying more can leave a residue) for each use. It is easy to apply and gets absorbed quickly. I use it nightly and have been waking up to hydrated and soft skin. It is a super hydrating cream that I think is ideal for normal to dry skin. Those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich for their skin.
