Who doesn't love well-hydrated skin? Hydrated skin looks supple and healthy. In addition, well-hydrated skin is also less prone to irritations and other skin discomforts. And if you use makeup, then it goes better on hydrated skin as compared to dull, dry skin. The problem with though is that it is very easy for our skin to lose moisture. It could be due to a number of reasons - lifestyle & eating habits, health conditions or climatic conditions & pollution. So it is very important to take care of our skin to ensure it stays radiant and healthy all year long.
I am sure most of you would have heard of Neutrogena. They deliver skincare products that have been developed with help of dermatologists and address a number of skin care needs. The brand has more than 650 products worldwide in categories ranging from face & body care to sun protection and from anti-ageing products to cosmetics. Recently Neutrogena launched a new range called Hydro Boost Body. The star ingredient of the range is Hyaluronic Acid, a super hydrator.
According to Neutrogena
The Hydro Boost Body range offers round the clock hydration, helping to lock in and continuously release hydration as and when your skin needs it. The advanced gel matrix in the range is enriched with hyaluronic acid and glycerin which works with the skin's natural moisture levels to improve hydration and lock in moisture.
I've been trying out a couple of products from Neutrogena's latest launch and I must admit I have fallen in love with the ultra-light formulation of these products. The fragrance is also very beautiful.
The two products that I tried are Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream (250ml, £4.99) and Hydro Boost Express Hydrating Spray (£5.49). The former is an advanced formula with a gel-like texture and is aimed at maintaining moisture balance in the skin while the latter is an ultra-light, cooling spray formula that is very easy to apply and envelops the skin in a refreshing layer of moisture. Both the products have a very light texture and a lovely, delicate fragrance. They are non-greasy and quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it feeling soft and supple. I have been using it for the last few weeks and they are perfect for the warm weather as it feels really light and comfortable on the skin while leaving it hydrated.
I also tried one of Neutrogena's new mask pods - the Hydro Boost Instant Facial Cream Mask Pod (10ml, £3.50). Perfect for travel, this mask pod is infused with hyaluronic acid (as the other two products) and helps nurture dry skin. It is gentle, non-comedogenic and can be used as a leave-on or rinse off formula. Again, the fragrance is fab.
Overall, a lovely set of skin hydrating products that I see myself repurchasing. You can purchase the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range from Boots.
