Stellar recently launched a beautiful Beech wood ware collection featuring cutting boards, butchers block, pizza serving board and an extendable trivet. Created from high grade laminated beech the boards are ideal for all kinds of cutting tasks as well as for presenting food in style.

Beech Wood Cutting Board

The cutting board comes in 5 sizes and is 2cm think with a stainless steel hanging loop. The board is good for both chopping tasks and serving purposes. The quality is good and the board feels better under a knife than thinner boards I have used earlier. The chunky style looks impressive and the reversible sides are a good idea.

Some handy tips from Stellar
- Prolong the life of the board by coating both sides frequently with oil.
- Rubbing salt into areas that have been used to cut garlic or onions can help remove odours.
- Stains can be naturally bleached out with lemon juice.
