On the blog today I share our views about a hardy golf umbrella from Susino. Now I know, many of you might not find a review of an umbrella an enticing read but trust me with the abysmal weather we mostly face, this robust and good quality umbrella is a great one to have to cope with the British weather especially when out in the countryside.
A golf umbrella is designed specifically for golfers. The umbrella due to its larger size is able to protect both the golfer and their equipment from the rain and the sun while golfing. But the umbrella also finds use by a large number of non-golfers who use it because it provides more cover and protection than a standard umbrella can. Mr.H loves these golf umbrellas and prefers to use one when we go out for our countryside walks. He has one from another brand but it is not a compact one, so this one from Susino gets bonus points for being easy to carry (even fits in a backpack).
The Susino golf umbrella has a traditional yet innovative design and provides full cover for one or more people in the wind and rain. It is big enough to fit both myself and Mr.H and stands up to even serious wind and rain. We have used it over the past couple of weeks and found it to be of a good quality - well made, stable, good size and very effective both in wet and windy weather.
Some of the key features of the umbrella are:
- Automatic Open & Close (very easy to open, does need a little effort to close)
- Soft Rubber Grip Handle (comfortable to hold)
- Fibreglass Frame
- Wind Resistant
- Double Vented Canopy (excellent feature especially in windy weather)
- Carry Strap (very handy)
Overall, the umbrella is really good and effective. The size and sturdiness of the canopy ensure that it can protect more than one person from the rain. I am sure it will accompany us on all our countryside walks now on.
The golfing umbrella is priced at £24.99 (and may seem expensive for an umbrella) but we feel it is real good value for money. Don't forget to check out the golf umbrella range and other offerings from Susino on their website.
