I am a fan of natural skincare products but I must admit that I hadn't tried any products from Tropic Skincare up until now. Tropic Skincare is a vegan and cruelty-free natural skincare and makeup brand whose products are made with nutritious tropical ingredients. I have been using two of their products - Whipped Body Velvet Intensely Rich Buttermelt and So Sleepy Pillow Mist - and loved them both.
Generally my skin is at its best in late Summer-Autumn and as the colder weather sets in the dryness begins to take hold. I up my skincare/bodycare regime to combat this dryness. And one product that I have been reaching out to this season is the Whipped Body Velvet (200ml, £28.00) from Tropic Skincare. My skin just loves it. The key ingredients in the body butter are Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Rarabe Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Baobab Oil, Organic Rosehip Oil, Vitamin E, Beta Carotene and Sunflower Seed Oil.
With a rich yet fluffy texture, the body butter melts into the skin with ease leaving it nourished and hydrated. The fragrance is gorgeous - Tahitian and Bourbon vanilla extracts - transporting you to a tropical paradise. The body butter leaves my skin smelling and feeling amazing. I highly recommend it - perfect as a night time treat for dull and dry skin.
The second product that I tried was the So Sleepy Pillow Mist (70ml, £20.00). A blend of seven calming, sleep-inducing essential oils (Lavender, Rosemary, Chamomile, Frankincense, Rosewood, Eucalyptus and Rose Geranium), this pillow mist is very comforting and relaxing. The scent is natural, not overwhelming and helps me to relax and unwind at the end of the day. I think the blend of essential oils help to reduce sleep anxiety allowing you to fall asleep faster. Love this product.
Even Mr.H loves the pillow mist; so much that he tends to spray it all over the duvet cover instead of just the pillows. If you struggle to get to sleep, try this pillow mist.
Both these products and others from Tropic Skincare's range are available at www.tropicskincare.com
