There's still something so pure and heartfelt and emotional and genuine about a bouquet of flowers that, even with all the advances in technology and the millions of ways we have to communicate with each other, flowers are still relevant in my opinion.
These are the words of Vanessa Diffenbaugh, the author of the novel 'The Language of Flowers' and I so agree with her. Flowers are one of the most popular gifts throughout the year, whatever be the occasion - birthdays, anniversaries or simply to say 'thank you'. It is a well-known fact that receiving flowers makes people happy, including me. I love having flowers around the house and regularly pick up flowers from our local florist.
Last week, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers - Pandora - from Prestige Flowers. Pandora is from Prestige Flowers' Haute Florist range and is perfect for special occasions.
The flowers came in a large cardboard box, securely packaged and in excellent condition. The flowers were fresh - the stems were covered in a hydration pack to keep them fresh and well hydrated during transport. Along with the flowers was a glass vase, some flower food, a card a flower care guide.
The bouquet itself was a beautiful arrangement consisting of Leucadendron foliage, Bromeliad Pineapple, whimsy Brunia, Cordyline and gorgeous Leucospermum.
This was a really unique, tropical arrangement, one that I instantly fell in love with. I especially loved the Leucospermum cordifolium or the 'Flame Giant' as it is often referred to. Both Red-Orange and Gold (Yellow-Orange) blooms were included in the arrangement and it was stunning. The Pineapple was also an interesting addition. The mini pineapple was a vivid shade of pink and made quite a statement in the floral bouquet. Overall, I was quite impressed with the quality of the flowers.
