I love floral waters. They are versatile and can be used in so many different ways - as a facial spray, a hair spritzer, an after shave and even as a mood lifter (Lemon balm floral water works wonderfully well as an uplifting scent, it is one of my favorites).

I have been trying out floral waters from Sanatio Naturalis and can I just say upfront that I simply love them. According to Sanatio Naturalis, their floral water mist refreshes, tones, soothes and hydrates the complexion at any time throughout the day, restoring the skin’s radiant health.

Packaged in sleek blue glass bottles, the floral waters from Sanatio Naturalis are delicate, light and come with a beautiful aroma. There are currently two variants in their floral water range - Bulgarian Rose and Orange Blossom.

Bulgarian Rose (100ml, £26.00) is a cooling, hydrating, and nourishing floral water. It has a lovely rose fragrance and is excellent at toning and hydrating the skin. I regularly use rose water as a toner and this one works well for my combination skin. It has been especially useful to help soothe my skin when it is reddened or inflamed. It has a calming effect and I think will be useful for all skin types especially dry, sensitive or mature skin.

Orange Neroli Water (100ml, £26.00) is a refreshing, soothing, and powerfully astringent floral water. It has a rich and fresh fragrance and I think is perfect for dull or sluggish skin. It kind of wakes up tired complexions due to its refreshing properties. I also use this as a hair spritz because I love the cooling effect it has on my scalp especially if I have been out in the sun for too long. Plus I like how nice it makes my hair smell!

Tips for using floral waters

- Chill the floral water in the fridge, so that when you spritz it over your skin the cooling effect is multiplied.
- Spritz a generous amount of the (chilled) floral water on a cotton pad and place it on your eyes for 2-3 minutes for a homemade soothing eye mask. It effectively relieves eye fatigue.
- I have also layered both the floral waters together and like how they complement each other.

So, what do you think of these two floral waters from Sanatio Naturalis? Do you have any other tips for using floral waters? Let me know!
