There's no doubt that I'm a skincare lover. I use very little to zero makeup on most days instead preferring to take care of my skin (both from inside and outside) so that the harmful effects of the sun (other external elements) and ageing do not show up as much on my skin. My regular skincare regime includes pampering my skin with moisture-packing and intensely hydrating face masks. After all, who doesn't want smooth and supple skin? I try and ensure to make time over the weekends for a skincare pampering session when I treat my skin to some lovely goodies. Over the past few weeks I have been trying out the Temple Spa Trufflesque Ultra Hydration & Radiance Masque and I have to admit it has shown really nice results.
The Temple Spa Trufflesque masque is a luxury anti-ageing masque with an unique collagen boosting Hydra-Plump complex™ that helps to create the appearance of instant youthfulness in the skin. According to Temple Spa, The masque contains black summer truffles, gold and silk peptides and a fruit & amino acid cocktail that work their magic to leave skin plumper, more lifted, super hydrated and silky smooth. In addition the masque contains a unique combination of diamond powder and gold photo-reflective particles that impart a luminous and radiant finish.
Cleanse your skin and use the brush provided to apply the masque generously over your face and neck (avoiding the eye area). Leave it on for 15-20 minutes while the mask does its work. Then you massage the masque and leave for another 2-3 more minutes. And finally you remove the mask with a damp muslin cloth or flannel. You can then rinse your face with warm water.
The Trufflesque masque comes in a luxurious golden colour and when applied to the face it has a dramatic and lush feeling, like you are applying liquid gold to your face. It looks different from all the face masks I have tried and is an absolute treat for my skin. I have sensitised skin and the masque worked well for me (zero irritation/discomfort). The masque does not tighten however it does feel a bit sticky to the touch after 15-20 minutes. Once the masque had been removed completely, it left my skin feeling extremely supple and hydrated. There were no immediately noticeable firming effects but my skin felt so dewy and soft that I couldn't resist touching my cheeks every now and then. The masque is perfect if you want to revitalise tired skin.
The masque is priced at £50.00 for 75 ml, making it a pricey skin treat but it is well worth the price tag because of the intense pampering hydration it offers. It leaves my skin glowing as soon as I rinse it off. My skin feels hydrated and the mask is also gentle enough for my sensitised face. Love it.
