Beautiful sunny weather! And what could be more perfect than a picnic in the park? At DB Reviews, we love a good picnic. A few weeks back we received one of their popular handmade picnic baskets and I fell in love with the antique style wicker basket as soon as I had pulled it out of the sturdy cardboard box it came packaged in.

The picnic basket included the following:

The basket is very beautifully made and comes with an antique wash finish (which I loved) and cream fastenings. The antique wash effect is a natural process and shades vary which means that no two baskets will be identical.

There are 2 wine/champagne compartments and one open end compartment which is perfect for a carrying a rug and maybe a couple of books. The basket is a good size and the lift out cool bag fits perfectly in the middle of the basket so you can keep food nice and fresh.

The plates are ceramic and the ideal size for picnic - not too small but big enough to hold sufficient food stuff. I also liked the fact that the wine glasses are not plastic but real glass and once you have removed them from the cardboard box they come in, you can strap them onto the basket using straps. This means they are held securely even when you are carrying or transporting the basket. All the cutlery is made from Stainless steel and again it felt very safe and secure in the straps provided on the basket lid.

This 4 person wicker picnic basket is beautiful and perfectly balances style with practicality. Not only does it provide everything you need for a memorable picnic but also scores well in terms of looks. If you’re looking for a stylish carry-all for your Summer picnics, then this antique picnic basket is an excellent choice. It is priced at £95.00 which I think is a good price considering that the basket is such good quality.
