IXXI, an expert brand in the anti-aging segment, is owned by the well-known DRT group (Dérivés Résiniques et Terpéniques). Located in south-western France, DRT is an independent family-owned business and IXXI is the group's new entity and expert brand on the anti-ageing segment. I wanted to share my thoughts on two products from the Elixir range:
This is a multi-action treatment that moisturises, firms, evens out and protects the skin. Daily Defense Care is available in two shades - light and medium and has a lovely lightweight texture. It gets absorbed very easily and creates a lovely base. You can apply it with fingertips to the entire face and neck and post application the skin appears firm and smooth. Some of the key ingredients in the product include: Camellia Oil, Maritime Pine extract, Pine Polyphenols etc.
If you are looking for a daytime product that not only moisturises the skin but also gives a flawless look, try the Skin Enhancing Daily Defense Care.

An excellent addition to one's night-time skincare routine, this emulsion aims to eliminate toxins that saturate skin cells. So when you wake up in the morning, skin feels fresh and regenerated. The emulsion contains as key ingredients Pine Polyphenols, Pine Maritime extract and Gascogne Plum Butter among other things. It has a lovely fragrance and is easy to apply. Regular night-time use does show an improvement in the complexion - skin feels even toned and well-rested.
I like the pump dispenser packaging of the emulsion as well!
