There are sheet masks for the face, neck and eyes, so why not for lips? Lips masks were something that I had not heard of earlier, so I was intrigued when I first came across them and excited when I got the chance to try them. Some of you may wonder why we need lip masks? Well, the skin on the lips and around the lip area is delicate just like the skin around the eyes and needs some extra TLC. Lip masks are an excellent way to hydrate and nourish your lips.
I tried the Divine Hydra-Gel lip mask, a part of the newly launched Confessions range by Beauty Boulevard, and loved it. In addition to leaving my lips smooth and hydrated, it also left me wondering why I hadn't tried out any lip masks earlier.
According to Beauty Boulevard
The mask is very delicate. So, you need to remove it gently from the pack and press it onto the mouth area carefully. Let it sit for around 15-20 minutes and then remove it. I found the lip mask very soothing. It made my lips and the surrounding area soft and hydrated. I can see it becoming a part of my weekly pamper routine.
The lip mask comes in a pack of two and is priced at £7.50 per pack.
I also got the chance to try out the Confessions Trinity Tri Colour lip tints. Priced at £8.50 each, these tri colour lip tints are designed to condition and hydrate with a sheer wash of colour. The three variants are named: Lust, Envy and Pride. All of them contain naturally nourishing Coconut Oil, Jojoba and Beeswax for intense lip hydration and provide a very light dose of colour with a silky smooth, glossy finish.
I liked these tri colour lip tints as well. The product conditions and moisturises the lips and leaves a subtle hint of colour behind. If, like me, you use lips balms frequently then these lip tints could be an alternative - keeps lips hydrated and as a bonus adds a touch of colour.
Both these products can be ordered online from beautyboulevard.com
