Scented candles and other home fragrances can have a positive impact on your mood. I find that even looking at the glow of a candle can be very soothing and relaxing. Candles are a part of my daily life - whatever the season, I feel they are perfect for setting the mood and help you to relax at the end of the day.
I recently was introduced to Landon Tyler home fragrances. They are a new brand and their product range includes diffusers, single wick candles, triple wick candles and gift sets. I was sent two items from Landon Tyler - a 200g highly scented candle from the fragrance range 'Tuscan Garden' and a diffuser set from the range 'Blackberry Soufflé'.
The other fragrance ranges included: Scent of Christmas, Golden Amber, Winter Woods, Pink Cashmere, Country Meadow, Vintage Blooms, Chesil Beach, Citrus Grove, Dark Cashmere and Wild Berries. That's 12 different scents, one for each month!
With Tuberose, Violet, Geranium, Ginger and Musk this one is a delicate yet strong smelling candle. The fragrance is similar to the ambience you would expect from a lovely Tuscan garden - fresh and sweet. When the candle is lit and the fragrance begins to spread, it feels like you are in a garden with gentle breeze carrying the sweet scent of flowers and evergreens. It makes for a lovely Summer evening fragrance.
I love reed diffusers. If you love to scent rooms but need a home fragrance that you can leave unsupervised (unlike candles), then reed diffusers are a great alternative. This one from Landon Tyler is a highly fragrant diffuser that combines the scent of Blackberries, Fig and Orange with Vanilla, Maple and Almond - it feels like a sweet, creamy dessert in a bottle. The scent is strong but not artificial. I’ve been using this in the bathroom and it makes the room smell amazing! I have used only four reeds and the fragrance is strong enough for me. You can intensify the fragrance by adding more sticks. Turning the reeds over also increases the release of fragrance.
At £8 for a single wick candle (200g) and £10 for the reed diffuser (100ml), I feel that Landon Tyler products are really well priced. The packaging is lovely (beautifully gift boxed), the products are highly fragranced and the prices affordable.
