Sleek Makeup recently launched (on 29th June) a super-pigmented range of lip crayons called Power Plump. These lip crayons with plumping power glide on effortlessly on the lips, imparting a satin pop of colour and enhancing the appearance of lips. I was kindly sent the six shades from this new range - Berry Burst, Fully Fuchsia, Raving Rouge, Power Pink, Colossal Coral and Notorious Nude and have been trying them out over the past few days.
The Power Plump range has a packaging similar to lip crayons from other brands and the shade names are quite catchy - Raving Rouge and Berry Burst being my favourites. When I first tried the lip crayons on, I was surprised at how comfortable they were to apply. A couple of minutes after applying the lip crayons, a warm tingling sensation began which then became a subtle buzzing sensation which meant that lip-plumping was at work. I am comfortable with this sensation as I have used lip-plumping products earlier, but if you have sensitive lips or have never tried these earlier, then do a patch test on a small area first.
I like how these lip crayons give a subtle enhancement to the lips with a lovely satin finish. All the six shades are beautiful and wearable but I am partial to Fully Fuchsia, Raving Rouge and Colossal Coral. The colours last 3-4 hours before needing reapplication.
If you are looking for affordable plumping lip crayons then the Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayons (priced at £5.49 each) are the ones for you. You can order them online at www.sleekmakeup.com
