Something new and exciting is always happening in the beauty world - like the brand new limited edition Whimsical Wonderland collection from Sleek MakeUP. My makeup go-to's are limited to lipstick and mascara. So rather than reaching out for the very attractive i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette (All The Fun Of The Fair), I thought I would try some lip colours from Sleek MakeUP. This is the first time I was using Sleek lipsticks and was not sure if I would like them. I had liked what I had seen on their website and picked three lovely shades hoping that I would enjoy using them.
Of the three that I chose, Hot Tottie is my favourite. Such an on-trend, lovely colour. It is not something that I would normally wear, but surprisingly it turned out to be my favourite of the trio. All the three shades are from Sleek's Lip VIP range - Hot Tottie belonging to their latest Whimsical Collection while Night Spot and Flaunt It are the latest additions to Lip VIP.
All the three colours offer nice coverage. They have a creamy formula that effortlessly glides on the lips and stays intact for a good few hours. The lipsticks are semi-matte and offer a sort of velvety finish. I am glad that the lipsticks did not dry my lips and this can be attributed to the presence of Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Vitamin E in the ingredients list.
I liked the quality of these lipsticks - nice pigmented colours, easy application, moisturising and the prices are incredible too. The lipsticks are only £5.50 each. I really like the 'flaunt it' shade for Summertime! Although all of them look lovely and I love that the ingredients are nourishing for the lips!
