A few weeks ago I received a bundle of products from BetterYou. BetterYou are an innovative natural health company who specialise in supplements - both oral and transdermal. I have reviewed their oral supplement sprays and the transdermal mineral (oil) sprays previously on the blog. Today, I am here with my views on two other products - the Magnesium body lotion and Magnesium body butter.
The Magnesium body butter (180ml, £9.95) is a luxuriously rich and intensively moisturising body butter that contains a nourishing blend of BetterYou Magnesium Oil with Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Coconut oil and Vitamin E. The body butter is quite thick so needs some rubbing in but it does get absorbed in the end. There is a subtle fragrance which I like. There is no tingling sensation on application unlike the oil sprays and the body butter leaves the skin moisturised and supple in addition to supplementing the Magnesium levels in your body. The body butter is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin. It is meant for use all over the body but I have only been using it on my hands and feet only. I like this body butter and feel that it is perfectly suited for those with normal to dry skin due to its rich and thick texture.
The Magnesium body lotion (150ml, £9.95) has a similar composition as the body butter but the formula is lightweight and is suited for daily use even in the current weather. The lotion comes in a handy pump dispenser bottle and is easy to apply. Gets absorbed easily and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. I did not feel any tingling on application probably because my skin has got used to Magnesium oil by now.
Both the products are Paraben free, are not tested on animals and contain Zechstein Inside Magnesium Chloride. You can check out the entire BetterYou range here.

Sounds like an amazing product, but I have oily to combination skin, so I don't think it would be a good match for me..
