I am a sun-loving person and am glad that winter is finally gone. The sun is shining, flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. I love everything about Spring. Everything seems so full of life. That is the power of sunshine. However, sun also sucks the moisture out of skin. My skin tends to become a little dull and loses its suppleness if I am out in the sun for long. But I have a saviour at hand - sheet masks. A sheet mask left on the face for 15-20 minutes offers a guaranteed moisture boost leaving my skin soft and moisturised.
One sheet mask that I tried recently and which acts as a perfect little pick-me-up for dull, dry skin is the Verso Deep Hydration Mask. According to Verso
Ingredients:
Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Grapefruit Fruit Extract, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Cellulose Gum, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Sea Water, Trideceth-6, Silica, 1,2-Hexanediol, Octyldodecanol, Carrageenan Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide 3, Glycosyl Trehalose, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Oleate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyglutamic Acid, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Ethylhexylglycerin, Cladosiphon Okamuranus Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum.
The mask has the right amount of product and fits my face perfectly. Unlike other sheet masks that I have used earlier, this one comes as two separate pieces (as seen in the picture below - the ones in the photo are the protective covering for the mask and not the actual mask). The mask is easy to apply and when left on for 15-20 minutes my skin soaks up all the goodness that the mask has to offer. Afterwards I just work the excess product into my skin with my fingertips. There is no need to rinse the face. The mask lives up to its claim of deep hydration - it left my skin feeling moisturised, soft and so fresh! And the results lasted a good few days. Loved it.
You can pick up the Verso range from Cult Beauty, Selfridges and select Space.NK stores. The Deep Hydration Mask comes in a pack of 4 and costs £60.
One sheet mask that I tried recently and which acts as a perfect little pick-me-up for dull, dry skin is the Verso Deep Hydration Mask. According to Verso
Each mask is infused with patented ‘Artificial Hydration Factor’ (AMF) which supports the skin’s ability to retain moisture and maintains hydration levels for up to 120 hours. With additional hyaluronic acid, alongside grapefruit extract and ceramide-3 to further optimise the AMF effect, this has an instantaneous line-lessening and plumping benefit.

I really need something to truly hydrate my skin - it's SO dry at the moment, but this is a tad pricey for just 4 masks!

Yes, it works out to £15 per mask but is worth it as the results last much longer than any other sheet mask I have tried.
DeleteThis sounds amazing, but as Stephanie has said, it is quite expensive!
