My hair doesn't need a reason to go from dry and dull to being dry, frazzled and unruly. Taking care of my hair to keep them soft and beautifully manageable is something that I have to work hard on. It takes more time and effort than my skincare regime. So, when I see intensive, hydrating treatments targeted for dry hair I get all excited. I love using nourishing conditioners and hydrating masks that leave my hair soft and feeling well cared for. I have been trialling the Keratin Revolution Keratin Infused Deep Conditioning Masque for a while now and love it. So, here I am with some information on the product and my experience with it.
Keratin Revolution are a UK based brand offering innovative hair care products to stylists all over the world. The deep conditioning mask that I have been using is from their Aftercare line and is a 'Thermo Activated Hair Hydrating System' that enables repair, control and intense moisture hydration of dry hair.
According to the makers
The deep conditioning masque includes hydrolysed Keratin, Green Tea extracts, Hydrolysed Collagen and Jojoba Oil that work together to provide intense moisture and hydration while restoring the hair back to its pristine condition.
As per the instructions, you need to apply a small amount of the masque to cleansed hair. Massage it from roots to ends and leave it on for 15–30 mins. You can cover your hair with a shower cap if you wish to. Once the stipulated time is up, rinse your hair with tepid water. I have used it as a regular hair mask (leaving it on for 10 minutes or so) and also as an intensive treatment leaving it on for around half an hour covered with a shower cap and in both the cases it has worked nicely. I love the fragrance of the mask and how beautifully soft it leaves my hair. Frizz is reduced and hair appears and feels softer. Styling is much easier when I have treated my hair to this masque. The masque is brilliant.
A 200ml tub costs £24.99. Keratin Revolution products are available in salons nationwide.
