We are in October and just a few months away from the new year. I cannot believe how quickly the months have been passing by. I have featured all the Degusta boxes for 2015 (up until the current month) on the blog and as always it is a pleasure to present the box for the month gone by. The September box contained a lot of yummy drinks and goodies. There were many new brands in this box and a couple that we were familiar with. So, lets take a look at the treats that were included in the September Degustabox:
– Maynards Red n' Blacks Wine Gums
– Bassetts Jelly Babies Berry Mix
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (2 packs)
– Mallow And Marsh Raspberry Marshmallows
– The Good Cider of San Sebastian (1 Apple, 1 Pear)
– Up & Go (Breakfast on the go : 1 Chocolate, 1 Vanilla)
– Compete Energy Bites (Mocha Flavour)
– Sweet Sally Winter Spice Tea
Db Discoveries
– Kent’s Kitchen Posh Noodles Spicy Szechuan
– The Olive Shop Extra Virgin Olive Oil
What an interesting mix of products! Some delightful treats and a couple of handy products. Let's begin with the chocolate-y treats: two packs of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. These were incredibly yummy and if you are a peanut-butter person, you will love these. Mr.H liked the Mallow And Marsh Raspberry Marshmallows. Maynards Red n' Blacks Wine Gums and Bassets Jelly Babies Berry Mix were shared amongst some young guests visiting us. The kids loved them - especially the berry mix.
The Good Cider of San Sebastian - 2 variants were included and both were nice. Fruity and refreshing when chilled, I preferred the Pear over Apple. The Up & Go breakfast drinks were interesting. Packed with fibre and protein, these are perfect for mornings on the move. I think I will be stocking on the Chocolate flavoured one. I enjoyed the Sweet Sally Winter Spice Tea. It was lightly sweetened, crisp and refreshing with a hint of spice. I drank it straight up, but feel I will enjoy it more with a dash of dark rum! Mr.H picked up the Compete Energy Bites - perfect for use when he has an early morning start.
There were 2 DB Discoveries in the September box - The Olive Shop Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Kent’s Kitchen Posh Noodles Spicy Szechuan. The oil came in very handy and the noodles will be put to good use. I had received the same pot of noodles in the March 2015 box as well.
Overall, an interesting box with something for all tastes. If you would like to try Degustabox, I have a huge discount for you. Normally the surprise food box costs £12.99 each month(including delivery). But you can get £6.00 off your first box with the discount code BLDEG15.
Yum! It definitely offers a great combination of foods, but due to my allergies/intolerances, I wouldn't be able to enjoy any of these :(
