Snapfish are one of the leading online photo service sites offering a wide range of personalised photo products like photo calendars, mugs, mouse mats, books and stationery, canvas prints, puzzles and magnets to name a few. Their website is quite easy to navigate/use and you can even edit and enhance your photos before using them in custom photo gifts. I was recently asked to create some personalised photo coasters using the Snapfish website and was provided some credit on their website to facilitate the review.
I undertake photography almost every other day - either for one of my blogs or to add to my personal collection (family, nature, animals etc.). I looked through my recent photo albums and it took me quite some time to decide which photographs I would use for the coasters. I wanted something nice, something that would be a lovely reminder of the time I recently spent with my parents. After much deliberation I settled on some animal photographs - but these are not just any animal photos. These are photos of animals with their babies - photos which depict the parent-child bond. All except one of the photos have been taken in Enfield. During Spring and Summer I was tracking the birds and animals in our area - right from the time the ducks laid the eggs to the time the time the young ducklings hatched and grew big enough to feed themselves. It was marvellous to see the parent-child bond in the animal world and I felt these photographs would make an excellent choice for the coasters.
The coasters were really easy to create and personalise. I just had to upload a set of photos to my Snapfish account. And then drag the photos I wanted to use and add them to the coaster creation page. You can either opt for the same image on all coasters or go with different ones for each coaster like I did. It costs £9.99 per coaster set (6 coasters in each set). The coasters have a heat resistant, non-slip cork backing and measure 4"x4"x 1/8". The photographs that I used were high resolution, so they worked fine for the coasters. If your photos are too small, then the Snapfish application will alert you to the size/quality issues. Overall, the personalisation process is very easy-peasy with simple and straight forward instructions and in no time, I had my set ready for printing. When the finished product arrived home, I was very happy with the quality. The coasters have a shiny finish and look amazing. We were impressed.
Another item I created was a personalised notebook. I chose a picture of our furry baby to put on the notebook cover. This was very easy to create - just upload and select the photo. The whole process was complete in a matter of minutes. And the photo quality on the end product was amazing.
If you are looking for personalised gifts like the unique coasters that I created, then do check out the Snapfish website. In addition to personalised coasters there are many other great gifting options which would be ideal as Christmas stocking fillers. Just bear in mind though that if you order multiple items, they may be dispatched separately.
