The past month went by very quickly, probably because my parents are visiting me and everyday has been fun and wonderful. That is also the reason why the number of posts on the blog in July and this month have been fewer than usual. But I have continued with my skincare trials. For the past month I have been using the Nurture Replenish Collagen Boosting Serum (30ml, £14.95) which is an intensively nourishing serum containing phytoestrogens that helps to replenish levels of oestrogen and collagen which are required for the healthy and youthful appearance of skin.

Described as a silky-smooth, nourishing serum this Nurture product has a wonderful consistency - silky and smooth. It glides beautifully onto the skin giving it an immediate moisture boost. The product comes in a 30ml sturdy plastic bottle with a pump action which I feel is perfect for serums. I have been using the serum for a month now and still have some of the product left. This is because you need only a small amount of the product for application each time.

The serum has a lovely, sweet fragrance which smells very natural. I use it morning and night after cleansing and not once has it caused any irritation or redness on my sensitive facial skin. When my skin is dry, I follow up the serum with a moisturiser while at times I simply use the serum alone.

As I mentioned earlier, it imparts an immediate hydration boost leaving the skin smooth and silky. Over the weeks I have noticed that my skin feels smoother and less drier than it used to be. The serum scores excellently in terms of moisturisation and imparting a plumping effect to the skin. I would recommend it if you are looking for a high quality facial serum at an affordable price.
