I love skincare. And face masks are one of my top skincare products for hydrating the skin. Whenever my skin needs a boost of hydration and radiance, I turn to face masks. Today I share my views on the Vitage Age Defence Hydrating Mask which can be used as a 10-minute mask or even left overnight for an intensive treatment.
Presented in a flip-top tube packaging, the mask has a soft, creamy texture and contains a blend of hydrating and anti-ageing ingredients like Sodium Hyaluronate, Coconut and Almond Oil, Aloe vera, Vitamins A, C and E, Rosehip oil and Japanese Green Tea to name a few. It also contains Codiavelane, a green algae that is said to give both immediate and long-term moisturisation to repair barrier function.
The mask, though creamy, has a light-weight texture and is very easy to apply. I normally apply it on my face and neck and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. The mask always leaves my skin supple and hydrated. I have combination, sensitive skin and the mask works well for me, without any irritation, redness or breakouts. If there is one thing that I would love to see an improvement in - it is the fragrance. The mask has a natural fragrance - nothing unpleasant - but it is not something that I am drawn to. Other than that, I totally love the mask.
Vitage are a high performance, antioxidant range created in the UK by skin professionals. I recommend that you check out their product range which is available from www.effortlessskin.com
