Founded by Rachael Dunseath, Myroo Skincare is an independent natural skincare company based in the UK. All their products are developed, manufactured and tested in-house using only the finest natural ingredients. Myroo does not use any synthetic ingredients in their products. I have used the Geranium Hand Treat from Myroo earlier and loved it. Recently I was sent another of Myroo's best sellers to try out - the Lemon Body Butter.
According to Myroo 'Their beautifully soothing body butter with Shea butter and Coconut oil is an intensive skin treat and a little goes a very long way.'
The key ingredients are:
Organic Shea butter : Helps to moisturise, aid cell regeneration and help fade scars & marks.
Coconut oil : It is highly antioxidant, moisturising and soothing.
Sweet Almond Oil : It is rich in Omega 6 and Vitamins A, B1, B2 and B6.
Citrus is one of my favourite fragrances and the Myroo Lemon Body Butter (http://www.myroo.co.uk/) hits the bull's-eye in the scent department. The citrusy scent is so lovely that I was actually tempted to eat it :) Don't worry, I did not eat it though. But seriously, the scent is very exuberant. It leaves my skin smelling so fresh and lemon-y that I keep sniffing my hands every now and then. The consistency of the body butter is very light - akin to a mousse. It melts when you rub it into the skin and leaves a slight sheen. The presence of Shea Butter, Coconut and Sweet Almond oils makes the body butter deeply nourishing. If you have dry skin or need a little pampering, then you should give this body butter a go. It is effective and smells divine!
And here is a little treat for my lovely readers. Rachael has very kindly offered one lucky reader of this blog a 100g pot(featured in the review) of the Myroo Lemon Body Butter. Entry, as always, is using the widget below. All the best!
