Mission Deli recently challenged bloggers to take part in a 'Recipe Challenge' where we had to choose from one of the following three missions:
- Mission 1: Use a Mission Deli Super Soft Wrap in a creative way.
- Mission 2: Create the perfect lunch using a Mission Deli Super Soft Wrap.
- Mission 3: Make a super healthy recipe using a Mission Deli Super Soft Wrap.
Ingredients
- 4 Mission Deli Super Soft Wraps
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- 1 red onion (chopped)
- 1 tin of chickpeas
- Bikaneri Bhujia (savoury snack - for garnishing)
For the green chutney
- 1 bunch fresh coriander leaves
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt as per taste
For the sweet and sour chutney
- 1 cup plain yoghurt
- 2-3 tbsps. tamarind sauce
- 3-4 tbsps. date syrup
- 1 tsp. chilli powder (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Method
- Spread the green chutney over the Mission Deli wrap. Add the mashed chickpeas and spread evenly.
- Fold the wrap over the filling and toast in a sandwich toaster.
- Once done, remove and cut the toasted wrap into 4 pieces.
- Place the pieces on a serving plate and drizzle some sweet yoghurt mix and green chutney.
- Garnish with chopped tomatoes, onion and Bhujia. Serve!
