It's Friday! Yay! I have some exciting things planned for the weekend. What about you folks? Is it going to be a lazy, restful weekend or do you have something planned too? Let me know. Ok, moving onto the product that I bring to you today; it is one of the products from my emergency skincare kit - the Bio Cellulose Rejuvenating Eye Mask from Timeless Truth.
The luxury masks from Timeless Truth use different types of cloth and are classified into 3 categories: Elasticity, Bio Cellulose and Organic Silk Fibre. The eye mask that I used is from the Bio Cellulose range. The mask cloth is very delicate and fits perfectly on the skin. Because of its texture it aids in deeper penetration of the serum. The texture of the mask also helps maintain the moisture in the skin and allows it to breathe as well. The eye mask comes with protective material on both the sides and was extremely delicate to handle. The fact that it was saturated with serum also meant that it was slipping out of my clumsy hands :) Anyway, I finally managed to put it as directed under my eyes and sat down with a book.
After half an hour, I gently peeled the eye masks away. The plump delicate mask had become dry and had a papery texture. What that meant was my skin had soaked in all the serum. Good. And the results? Even better. The first thing I noticed was the under eye area was brighter. It looked hydrated and skin felt soft and plump. I have broken capillaries under the left eye and I felt that the mask had sort of dulled its appearance. Even though it was a temporary effect, it was a welcome effect nonetheless. Overall, I feel that this eye mask would be perfect as a pre-night out or pre-party pick me up and equally useful to treat tired computer eyes.
The eye mask retails at £3.70 per pack and can be picked up online from Beauty Masks Ltd.
