Shampoos and conditioners are two products that I like to keep changing every now and then simply because I get bored using the same ones over and over again. And so I am always on the lookout for new ones to try. In majority of the cases either the shampoo works well or the conditioner. Very rarely do both products from a set tick all the right boxes for me and when they do I tend to stay with those products for longer. If you have been following my blog, you would know that I love and recommend Rituals products. None of the Rituals product I have used so far have disappointed me. The two products that I am bringing to you today are no different. The Indian Rose & Shikakai Shampoo and Conditioner - another set of amazing products from Rituals.

The Shampoo(250ml, £9.50) is called 'Brilliant Bliss' while the conditioner(200ml, £9.50) is named 'Shikakai Secret'. The packaging is beautiful(love the Indian touch) and both the products smell absolutely divine. I have used Shikakai in powder form for cleaning my hair whenever I have visited my grandmother in India. Shikakai(Acacia concinna) is commonly used in Southern India as an Ayurvedic traditional shampoo. In the powder form it has a herbal fragrance and doesn't lather much but is a very effective natural cleanser and conditioner. The Shikakai shampoo from Rituals smells amazing due to the Indian Rose and cleanses hair well leaving it silky. And unlike the powder, this one lathers well :-) The Shikakai conditioner has an equally lovely fragrance and conditions excellently. Used together both these products leave my hair feeling soft, healthy and well conditioned. A set of hair care products where both the shampoo and conditioner work equally well. Highly recommended.
