Today's post is about a much reviewed and discussed product on the blogosphere - the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eraser Eye. I am sure you must have read loads of reviews about this product on various blogs. And here is yet another one from my personal experience.
I have been using the Eraser Eye for many weeks now and am ready with my review. Let's start with the packaging. I love the tube design with the foam applicator. There is no need for an applicator brush as the attached sponge/foam brush does a very good job of seamlessly blending the product. The first time you use the product, you have to twist the tube many times to get the product flowing. But once it does, then the product flow is good and uniform. There has been a mixed opinion on the brush as many consider that it will be a good environment for germs to breed. I do not mind the design though, because 1. I always use it on a cleansed face and 2. I do not use any eye product for more than a couple of months max. In the time that I have been using it, I have not had any problems.
The product blends well in the under eye area; very rarely I use my little finger to blend it a little more. The coverage and finish are good. I do not have very dark circles and the Eraser Eye's creamy texture conceals it well. If you have very dark circles, it may not cover well but for moderate dark circles or fatigued eyes, this one works well. And it does not crease on me which is a big plus.
The Eraser Eye is available in 2 shades: Nude and Medium. You can pick it from Superdrug for £7.99. Have you used the Eraser Eye? Do let me know what you think of this product in the comments below.
