Starting with a single spa in New York in 1996, Bliss has grown tremendously over the years and today Bliss spa treatments are very well known and sought after. Their spa and skin care products range is amazing and includes bath and body products, hair removal and body waxing products, anti aging treatments, masks, sun protection, shape wear, supplements and cosmetics to name a few. A while back I got the opportunity to try out some products from the Bliss range and today I am here with my views on the bliss lemon + sage body bar. Yes, I decided to review the soap bar first from the bundle of products I received. If you have been following my blog you will know of my love for soap bars - I love the way they feel in my hand and if it cleans, exfoliates and moisturises as well then it is a winner in my eyes. The bliss lemon + sage body bar won me over at the first glance with its fragrance and appearance. But how did it fare in terms of performance? Read on to find out more.
Packed with Bliss' signature citrus scent and moisturizing glycerine, this soap bar seriously delivers more bubble than most soaps I have used. When I used it for the first time, I was really surprised at the amount of sud it generated :) I love it when a soap bar lathers well. And because it contains glycerine it leaves the skin moisturised without any stretchy feeling. The tiny and gentle exfoliating loofah bits and massaging particles give a good stimulating bathing session. One side of the soap has small nubs as you can see from the pictures and these provide a good massaging effect. I particularly enjoyed massaging the nubs on my shoulder as it seems to relieve achy muscles. Some soaps tend to dry my skin but not this one. The bar left my skin clean, soft and smooth after use.
The combination of Lemon and Sage is very refreshing and uplifting - a perfect scent that both myself and Mr.H have been enjoying. It is invigorating but not very strong or overpowering. I like it. I also like the fact the soap doesn't slip out of my hands in the shower. Overall, it is a winner - an all rounder that I see myself purchasing in the future.
What I liked about the bliss lemon + sage body bar
- Fabulous fresh fragrance.
- Contains glycerine for moisturisation.
- Provides gentle exfoliation.
- Stimulates circulation.
- Leaves me refreshed after every use.
- Lasts long.
Priced at £10 for 141g the bliss lemon + sage body bar can be picked up from Bliss World. Have you tried Bliss products? What do you think of this soap bar? Would you give it a try?
