I had not heard of 'Beyond Organic' until a month back. It is an award winning British brand based in Constantine, Cornwall. Setup in 2005, the company has been making a range of natural skincare products and has won 19 beauty awards for their various organic beauty products.
For the past few weeks I have been using the Beyond Organic Firming Eye Cream and I am here today with my views on the same. The skin around the eyes is very delicate, thin and the first to show up signs of stress or lack of sleep. While I have never had to face puffy under eyes, the skin around my eyes tends to become dehydrated and dull. And that is why, I have made it a point to use an eye cream since my mid 30s. This eye cream comes in a tiny 7ml pot. You might think that it is very little of the product. But because the cream is highly concentrated, you only need a really tiny bit for each application. I have been using this for more than 3 weeks and there is still lots of product in the pot.
The cream is light and gets absorbed easily. It has a mild herbal fragrance; but it is not overpowering. If you see the list of ingredients below, you will be amazed at all the goodness it encompasses. Rosehip oil, Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Sea Buckthorn Oil - with all these amazing ingredients it is no wonder that the cream helps keep the delicate under eye skin hydrated and moisturised. It also contains Eyebright which helps to reduce puffiness and soothe the under eye area after a long tiring day. Overall, I am happy with the way the cream has worked for me. Priced at £10.56 for the 7ml pot, the cream is available to purchase online at Beyond Organic and I feel it is a good bargain.
Ingredients:
Rosa damascene flower water (Rose), Helianthus annuus seed oil (Sunflower)* infused with Euphrasia officinalis flower/leaf/stem (Eyebright)*, Macadamia ternifolia seed oil (Macadamia)*, Rosa canina fruit oil (Rosehip)*, Butyrospermum parkii butter (Shea)*, Cetearyl olivate, Sorbitan olivate (Olive leaf emulsifier)*, Cera alba (Beeswax)*, Hippophae rhamnoides seed oil (Sea Buckthorn)*, Lysolecithin (Lecithin)*, Propanediol (Corn), Salix alba bark extract (Willow), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Triticum vulgare germ oil (Wheatgerm)* *Certified organic ingredients
What I liked about Beyond Organic:
- All products are certified organic.
- 100% natural. No parabens or petrochemicals.
- Gentle on the skin.
- Fair trade.
- They do not test on animals.
Final word: This is one of the most affordable eye creams I have used. And it works.
