Have been enjoying Newby Teas over the past couple of weeks. Newby Teas are a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a non-commercial alliance of tea packers and blenders, committed to improving the lives of tea workers and the environment. They have an awesome range of Black, Green, Herbal and Flavoured teas. I tried out 4 flavours from their range: Assam, English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Jasmine Blossom. Read on to know my views on the range.
Assam: Assam Tea is always known for its malty flavour and strong colour. This one from Newby is no different. The balance of flavours was perfect; an excellent tea to wake up your senses.
English Breakfast: Nothing like a cup of English Breakfast tea in the mornings. Full bodied and robust this tea goes well with milk and sugar. A blend of Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan teas, this one is a favourite of both me and Mr. H. It is a morning staple at home.
Earl Grey: One of the best Earl Greys I have tasted. A full bodied black tea; I loved the intensity of the Bergamot flavour - very refreshing and soothing. A must-try for all Earl Grey fans.
Jasmine Blossom: A lovely Green tea infused with the fragrance and flavour of Jasmine blossoms. Each sip of this Jasmine Blossom tea from Newby was deliciously floral with a slight fruity taste. Perfect for noon, this one is smooth, sweet and very well-balanced.
