Cleansing is the most important part of the 'CTM' routine I feel. Our skin is exposed to a wide range of pollutants and irritants throughout the day. These accumulate on the skin, settle into pores and can cause a number of skin problems and also diminish the effects of any moisturising and/or skincare products you may be using. As such cleansing is really important and apart from the weekly pamper routine, I also ensure that I use a gentle everyday cleansing routine. I have tried milk based cleansers and still occasionally use them; but for the current colder months I am loving the Deep Cleansing Melt from Pinks Boutique.

The Deep Cleansing Melt with a blend of antioxidant Camellia and natural Vitamin E cleanses excellently without stripping the skin of any moisture. The melt has a creamy white texture. I was a bit sceptical if it would love a waxy residue on my face. But it melts and glides easily across the face. It has a very mild exfoliating effect for the first few seconds after application and then melts into the skin as you massage it. For best results, I always massage it over the face and neck for 2-4 minutes and then wipe it off with a warm Pinks Boutique muslin cloth. This offers additional exfoliation and smoothens the skin. I like how smooth and supple this cleansing leaves my skin. And I absolutely love the Lemongrass fragrance - takes me back to my childhood days when we used to have lemongrass growing in our garden. The fragrance is uplifting and gorgeous.
