I recently discovered Yves Rocher - a French cosmetics brand that is based in La Gacilly but has presence in 88 countries around the world. It is a leading brand in France and has a huge product range encompassing make-up, fragrance, skin care, bath and shower products, men's care and even food supplements. Yves Rocher has a Botanical Beauty Laboratory where they explore the potent and resplendent natural world to bring to its customers the best that plants have to offer.
I LOVE fragrances(who doesn't?). I was sent the Yves Rocher Neroli Secrets d’Essences recently and today I will share my views on the same. Packaging wise the EDP comes in a stunning glass bottle which slightly tapers downwards. The top portion is transparent which blends seamlessly into an opaque base. The outer box uses the black on white combo and overall, the entire packaging exudes elegance and premium quality.
The fragrance is absolutely beautiful and very feminine. In my opinion it is a balanced composition of both Neroli and Orange blossom. A little bitter-sweet but clean and well formulated. The bitterness is not overwhelming and the fragrances settles down to a lovely musk. It lasts about 5-6 hours on me which is very good. It is good for Spring/Summer, but I am so much in love with it, that I do not mind using it year long. Mr H loves it on me, he says it's quite flirty and very feminine. So, what more could I ask for? I see this fragrance as one of my favourites for a long time to come.
