If you have been following my blog, you would know that my hair is frizzy and dry. So, I am always on the lookout for products that will hydrate and tame my locks. I came across Awapuhi(Shampoo Ginger) when I was looking for natural shampoos. In Hawaii, women pick the Awapuhi flowers and squeeze out the juice present in them to apply to their hair. It is known to soften and bring shine to hair.

When I found that Paul Mitchell has an Awapuhi range, I was naturally excited to try it out. They have an extensive range of products, but I selected the Awapuhi Moisture Mist as I love hydrating sprays whether it is for body or hair. The Awapuhi range has been a part of the John Paul Mitchell heritage for nearly 30 years now.

When the original Awapuhi Shampoo® was launched in 1983, not many knew about the beauty benefits of Awapuhi Ginger. Over the years, the Awapuhi range has become quite popular with those who have used it.

The Awapuhi Moisture Mist is a hydrating spray that can be used both on hair and the skin. While it hydrates dry hair it also revives dull and tired skin. The hydrating mist has a lot of good ingredients like the Hawaiian Awapuhi and Lactic acid to provide your hair/skin with deep moisturisation. It also contains Spirulina and Plankton extracts which are rich in amino acids and vitamins and thus make your hair hydrated and silky smooth. I have been using it on my dry hair for a few weeks now and it leaves my hair softer and vibrant. Not just frizzy hair, I think it will suit all kinds of hair. You can use it on wet hair and then blow dry OR use it on dry hair to smoothen it. If you heat style your hair then this spray is wonderful to replenish some of the lost moisture.

What I like?- Hydrating Spray is perfect for daily use.
- It doesn't weigh my hair down.
- Leaves hair softer.
- Can be used on both hair and skin.

The only thing I would change is the fragrance. I wish it had a little more stronger fragrance which would linger on in my hair. Of course this is my personal preference. And it does not mean that I don't like its current mild fresh fragrance. Overall, a lovely product to hydrate and add shine to dry hair.

For all you dry haired beauties who want to check this range out, you can head to Paul Mitchell's site to browse through the entire range.
