Crabtree and Evelyn recently launched 21 gorgeous shades in their New Nail Lacquer collection. Ranging from neutrals to darks to gorgeous brights, there is something to please everyone. I received some shades from the new collection to try out and here is my view.
The first thing to catch my attention was the cute names that C&E have come up with - Pomegranate, Clementine, Snowdrop, Pistachio. This is how the colours have been named and I love it. The three colours that I received are: Blueberry, Mica and Black Cherry. I cannot tell you how I excited I was when I held these beauties in my hand.
Blueberry is a deep blue just like the fruit and has lovely shimmer of royal blue sapphire. With two coats I got a lovely finish and this one shimmers and shines in light. I love it. The photographs just did not capture the beauty of the colour. It has to be seen to be appreciated.
Black Cherry is a lovely shade - a dark berry crème that glides on easily for a smooth glossy finish. See how glossy and smooth it looks.
Mica is a lovely shade of charcoal with a touch of silver. Easy to apply and gives a smooth rich finish.
All the shades are easy to apply, fast drying and are formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene. I have always associated Crabtree & Evelyn with skincare but they have now won me over with their nail polish range as well. Priced at £6 each for 15ml these are a good buy.
