Trevor Sorbie, who was awarded an M.B.E from the Queen in 2004, is a coveted British Hairdresser who has been in the industry for four decades. Trevor has four hairdressing salons in UK - one each in London's Covent Garden, Hampstead, Manchester and Brighton. The Trevor Sorbie brand is a range of products that are made with the finest ingredients, tested and approved in their award wining salons. They have a number of ranges like the Salon Approved, Mg, 18-MES and Salon X-Clusive. Today I will be reviewing or rather bringing to you the review of Mg Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. Mg refers to male grooming and this review is based on Mr H's experience with the product. Though I must mention that I have used this product myself as well, so it features my feedback as well.
The Trevor Sorbie Mg Anti-Dandruff Shampoo claims to effectively clean and condition hair while tackling the cause of dandruff. It relieves dry, itchy, flaky, scalps and reduces redness to leave you with healthy, manageable hair. One of the major ingredients in the shampoo is Octprirox(Piroctone olamine) which is used to treat fungal infections. It is used as a replacement of another common antifungal agent called Zinc pyrithione. Octprirox relieves dry, itchy, flaky scalp conditions and Aloe extract in the shampoo helps to soothe the scalp. Mr H is happy with this product as it is gentle enough and works well for dry itchy scalp. I used this to treat dandruff and itchy scalp conditions. If you remember a few weeks back I had mentioned about using Nizoral to treat my scalp condition. But because you cannot use Nizoral every other day, I have been using this one. And with a few uses my scalp is now in a much better condition. The itchiness is all gone and flaking has reduced considerably. Although this range is made for men, it works well for me as well. I am happy with it.

I get such an itchy scalp after washing my hair usually! Might have to give this a try :)
ReplyDeleteTry it. It has worked for me even though its marketed as a men's range :) Does a good job to reduce itching and flakiness.
