You must be aware of my love for Dr Organic bioactive skincare. I have enjoyed using their Aloe Vera Gel and their Virgin Coconut Oil Lip Serum has become one of my all time favourites. So, its no wonder that I loved their Aloe Vera Skin lotion as well. Read on for more on this Polysaccharide rich daily moisturiser.
According to Dr Organic's website this hydrating lotion is based on Organic Aloe Vera enriched with Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Irish Moss, Vitamins A and E. This soothing and restorative moisturiser is suitable for use on dry, irritated and sun damaged skin.
I have been using this lotion for a few weeks now and it has been working well for my combination skin. The consistency is neither too thick nor too runny. The fragrance is mild and pleasant - like a combination of fresh Aloe with a hint of lemon. You only need a little of the lotion for each application, so this 200ml tube will last a long time even if you are using all over the body. The lotion has a rich moisturising feeling but is surprisingly not greasy at all. It is good to tackle itchy breakouts and minor skin flare ups.
As with all Dr Organic products this one is also free from Paraben, SLS and artificial colours and fragrances making it suitable for sensitive skin as well. Overall, a good daily moisturiser to keep skin hydrated and healthy.
