There is a first time for everything and this was my first using a bath melt :) Normally I use bubble bath liquids but when I saw these handmade bath melts with Fair trade ingredients, I knew these would be something different.
The Visionary Soap Company makes organic shea butter bath melts in four fragrances:
- Geranium Rose
- Lavender
- Lemongrass and
- Patchouli and Ylang Ylang
Ingredients - Fairtrade certified shea butter from Ghana, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), citric acid, organic pink rose petals and organic geranium essential oil.
Highly moisturising, each individual melt can be used for up to 2 baths. Coming in bags of 6, each bath melt is hand rolled and wrapped in waxed paper and individually labelled.
The smell is so gorgeous and you can see tiny rose petal pieces in the bath melt. Once the bath is filled with a little warm water and with the tap still running, drop the bath melt into the bath. In a few minutes the bath will be ready - smelling gorgeous and with petals floating in it. Its a treat relaxing in it :) Leaves you feeling smooth and smelling gorgeous.
The only minor gripe I had was that the bath became a bit greasy on the edges. Other than that I enjoyed this bath melt immensely. Give it a try if you like to pamper yourself. You might also like to read about the Geranium Rose Soap from the same company.
