The past month has seen me travel a lot. While I love travelling and enjoy every little break, travelling does take a toll on the skin. And what is the best way to get your skin back to its normal state? Yes, you got it right - a good face mask. I have been using the Voya Get Glowing Illuminating Clay Mask twice a week and it has helped rejuvenate my skin.
Voya, based in Ireland, makes a range of seaweed based organic products. Seaweed, the key ingredient in their products, is hand harvested and combined with the best of organic ingredients to bring to us a range of unique products. From night cream to lip balms, from facial scrubs to face masks, Voya has an interesting product range.
The Voya Get Glowing Mask is an illuminating marine face mask. It is perfect for dull and tired skin. Like I mentioned earlier on, all the travelling had left my skin a bit dull. And then 'Get Glowing' came to my rescue. I have been using it twice a week. You need to apply a thing layer uniformly onto your face and neck and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. The mask imparts a cool feeling upon application and the fragrance is just gorgeous. Clay on its own has a distinct smell and add to it patchouli and seaweed. I love it. Another fact that I love is the mask never hardens. Not like a regular clay mask. After the stipulated time when its time to rinse the mask off, I can barely see the mask on my face/neck. It is easy to rinse off as well. At times I have used my Konjac Sponge to clean the mask off. Now coming to the best part - the mask leaves my skin really clean and fresh. The skin appears a little brighter and tighter and much smoother. Voya Get Glowing mask is perfect for rejuvenating dull/tired skin.
I have combination/sensitive skin and the mask did not irritate my skin. However, always do a patch test before using any new product.
You can learn more about Voya and shop their products on their website or you can pick it up from Selfridges. Do you use clay masks? Which one is your favourite?

Great review. I'll have to look into this brand as they sound really good. Especially being organic and against animal testing.
